Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr B Cunningham, trainer of How Time Fly's regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. How Time Fly's last raced on the 20th February 2015. Mr Cunningham stated that How Time Fly's was returning to race after suffering a back muscle injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Flotilla, the winner of the event.
How Time Fly's and Select Sanz were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking How Time Fly's. Oblivious, Diamond Python and Flotilla collided approaching the 300 metre mark checking Diamond Python. Select Sanz crossed to the outside at the 250 metre mark and collided with How Time Fly's; How Time Fly's was checked as a result. Select Sanz raced wide approaching the winning post.
Select Sanz was vetted following the event and after being revetted following event 10, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A sample was taken from Diamond Python, 2nd placegetter in this event.
