Silver Salute was quick to begin. Boloney Swag was slow to begin. Castle's Memory crossed to the rail soon after the start. Boloney Swag crossed to the outside soon after the start. Azza's Girl checked off Parrot Is Loose at the 300 metre mark. Azza's Girl and Sardia collided at the 300 metre mark.
Boloney Swag was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
