A pre-race sample was taken from Stunning Success.
Dundee Cobra and Zambora Jai were slow to begin. Autumn Blaze crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Stunning Success and Mrs. Fozz. Dundee Cobra and Zambora Jai collided soon after the start. Autumn Blaze, Stunning Success and Jax Mikado collided at the 250 metre mark. Autumn Blaze and Jax Mikado collided at the 200 metre mark checking Autumn Blaze.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. J. Cornell for his failure to catch the greyhound Autumn Blaze in this event.
Autumn Blaze was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
