Major Trinity checked off Hi Ho Harilda at the 250mtr mark. Jimmy's House, Hi Ho Harilda and Lot Twelve collided at the 200mtr mark checking Star Rashad, Bo Wilfred and Lot Twelve. Star Rashad, Not So Cheap and Frosty Chompers collided at the 150mtr mark checking Not So Cheap and Frosty Chompers, Frosty Chompers stumbled as a result. Lot Twelve, Star Rashad and Bo Wilfred collided at the 150mtr mark. Frosty Chompers brushed the running rail at the 150mtr mark. Lot Twelve faltered at the 150mtr mark. Major Trinity raced wide from the 150mtr mark. Frosty Chompers checked off the heels of Star Rashad at the 50mtr mark. Lot Twelve was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triceps, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards issued a severe reprimand to Trainer, Luke Sgroi (Not So Cheap) for his inappropriate language behind the starting boxes for this event. Stewards directed Trainer, Mark Filomeno, to the kennels following Event 3 after HGA Kennel Attendant, Ms. Rosie Lott, observed a substance in the bile directly in front of the kennel of "Jimmy's House". In the presence of Mr. Filomeno, On-Course Veterinarian - Dr. David Stobo, Stewards - Mr. Ron Matthews and Ms. Heather Montgomery and Ms. Lott, Stewards retrieved the substance for analysis and also directed a swab sample be taken from "Jimmy's House". Following the running of race 5, Stewards conducted an interview with Mark Filomeno, regarding the matter and adjourned the inquiry pending the analysis of the substance by Racing Analytical Services Laboratory.
