Houdini, Botanic Beauty and Bohemian Queen collided soon after the start checking Botanic Beauty. Houdini and Mitzerella collided approaching the first turn checking Mitzerella. Why Fail, Sippin Sizzurp and Kimba Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Sippin Sizzurp and Kimba Bale. Botanic Beauty checked off Mitzerella on the first turn. Mitzerella raced wide on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Houdini checked off Bohemian Queen in the home straight.
Botanic Beauty was vetted following the event and showed signs consistent with lethargy. Botanic Beauty was revetted following event 11 and it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right wrist, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
