Bacca Gairn and Shepherd Mover were slow out. Onya Charlie and Brett To Wing collided soon after the start. Onya Charlie checked off the heels of Dark Rhythm on the first turn checking Bacca Gairn. Dark Rhythm and Shepherd Mover collided on the third turn. Lochinvar Jewel and Dark Rhythm collided on the fifth turn. Hunk, Dark Rhythm and Brett To Wing collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Dark Rhythm eased in the home straight checking Brett To Wing. Bacca Gairn and Shepherd Mover collided approaching the winning post. Dark Rhythm was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the left hamstring and a 14 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under AGRR82.1(d), Stewards directed the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, all tracks, before any future nomination. Onya Charlie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to be injured in the right back muscle and a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
