Steward's Report
Chief Fortified, Feelin' Awesome and Spiritual Cryer were slow out. Unique Maggie, Graham Charles and Blue Weaver collided soon after the start. Imagine This, Unique Maggie, Graham Charles and Blue Weaver collided approaching the first turn. Imagine This checked off the heels of Blue Weaver on the first turn severely checking Graham Charles and causing Unique Maggie to fall. Feelin' Awesome checked off the heels of Angry Assertion approaching the second turn checking Blue Weaver. Feelin' Awesome and Blue Weaver raced wide on the second turn. Feelin' Awesome and Blue Weaver collided entering the back straight and again on the third turn.
Chief Fortified was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to have suffered slight swelling to the track leg. No stand down period was imposed.
