Steward's Report
Heiltiki's Champ and Dash Of Burgundy were slow out. Cynthia Bale and Heitiki's Champ collided soon after the start. Kingston Storm, Heitiki's Champ and Benny's Fire collided on the first turn causing Benny's Fire to stumble and severely checking Heitiki's Champ and Dash Of Burgundy.Smurf's Tiger and Regal Ricky collided approaching the second turn. Kingston Storm, Smurf's Tiger and Regal Ricky collided entering the back straight, checking Smurf's Tiger. Cynthia Bale and Smurf's Tiger collided on the third turn. Cynthia Bale, Smurf's Tiger and Dash Of Burgundy collided approaching the home turn. Heitiki's Champ raced wide on the home turn.
Benny's Fire was vetted following the Event. Dr. Michael Bell, the club's veterinary surgeon, reported that he could find no abnormality with the greyhound.
Following the running of the Event, Gerrigong(weight 31.4kgs) trialled over 525metres starting from box 2. The sectional times recorded by the Judge were as follows: 5.27; 18.52; 31.04.
