Steward's Report
Somerton Lass and Lika Harley were slow out. Aaron's Vialie, Somerton Lass and Lika Harley collided soon after the start. Raging Saint checked off the heels of Nonna Nancy on the first turn checking Coleman Bale, Somerton Lass and Lika Harley. Raging Saint, Somerton Lass and Lika Harley collided on the second turn. Aaron's Vialie checked off the heels of Nonna Nancy entering the back straight checking Coleman Bale and Lika Harley. Nonna Nancy checked off the heels of Lika Harley on the third turn. Aaron's Vialie and Lika Harley collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Aaron's Vialie veered out and collided with Spring Square approaching the finishing line.
Aaron's Vialie was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound. Stewards issued a warning to Trainer, Brenda Kinder, regarding the manner in which Aaron's Vialie raced approaching the finishing line.
