Steward's Report

Elite Action and Davton Prince were slow out and collided soon after the start. Oh Behave and Little Things collided on the first turn. Autumn Harvest and Shamira Bale collided on the first turn. No Shame and Davton Prince collided on the first turn. Westar Sparkle and Davton Prince collided entering the front straight. Elite Action and Davton Prince collided in the front straight. Oh Behave and Autumn Harvest collided in the front straight. Westar Sparkle, Elite Action and Davton Prince collided approaching the second turn. Westar Sparkle checked off the heels of Elite Action on the second turn checking Davton Prince. Westar Sparkle and Autumn Harvest collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Oh Behave was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left and right back muscles, left pencil muscle and right hamstring. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Oh Behave down from competing for 10 days. Davton Prince was also vetted following the Event and Dr. Bell reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound. A swab sample was taken from Little Things, the winner of the Event.
