Steward's Report
Dark Jay and Why Complain were slow out. Nanchero Chief and Kingston Gem collided soon after the start. Ebony's Guy, Black Ben, Waratah Belle, Nanchero Chief and Kingston Gem collided on the first turn checking Kingston Gem. Black Ben and Waratah Belle collided in the front straight. Nanchero Chief checked off the heels of Waratah Belle on the home turn.
Nanchero Chief was vetted following the Event and Dr. Michael Bell, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left hind toe. Acting on a recommendation from Dr. Bell, the Stewards will stand Nanchero Chief down from competing for 14 days.
