Steward's Report
Bazdanny and Shake Ém Up were slow to begin. All Jazzed Up, Tell Me Ma, Shawshank and Xavier Kelton collided approaching the first turn, checking All Jazzed Up. Shawshank and Xavier Kelton collided approaching the first turn, checking Shawshank. Bazdanny galloped on Shawshank on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Shake Ém Up raced wide on the first turn. Baby's Rattle and Mum's Soul collided on the first turn. Tell Me Ma checked off Baby's Rattle approaching the second turn. All Jazzed Up and Shawshank collided on the third turn.
Bazdanny was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury; a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Shake Ém Up was vetted following event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Trainer, Ms. C. Cortese declined a re-vet. Stewards spoke to Ms. C. Cortese , the trainer of the greyhound Shake Ém Up. Stewards deemed the performance of Shake Ém Up unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Shake Ém Up must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
