Steward's Report
Laquita Lass was quick to begin. Canino and Hestia Bale were slow to begin. Canino checked off Hestia Bale on the first turn. Addictive Alpha and Crowdza Talking collided on the first turn, checking Crowdza Talking which collided with Hestia Bale. Canino and Crowdza Talking collided on the third turn.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Campbell trainer of Laquita Lass regrading the greyhounds improved performance. Mr. Campell stated that Laquita Lass had suffered a lot of interference in her recent starts and with an inside draw, no interference tonight she was able to perform as she did. Mr Campbell also stated that the greyhound was well suited in this event. Stewards accepted Mr.Campbells explination and directed that a sample be taken from Laquita Lass, the winner of the event.
