Jolly Beggarman was slow to begin. Miss Lilah was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Miss Lilah and Jolly Beggarman collided soon after the start, checking Miss Lilah. Miss Lilah faltered approaching the first turn and pulled up as a result. Santa's Hope and Extra Cuddles collided approaching the first turn. Lilypad and Elfie collided approaching the first turn. Santa's Hope, Extra Cuddles and Sir Pendelbury collided on the first turn, checking Extra Cuddles. Lilypad and Elfie collided on the first turn. Sir Pendelbury and Elfie collided approaching the second turn, checking Elfie. Elfie galloped on Lilypad entering the back straight. Extra Cuddles checked off Santa's Hope on the third turn. City Rambler and Elfie collided on the home turn. Santa's Hope checked off Extra Cuddles on the home turn and lost ground. Elfie checked off Sir Pendelbury entering the home straight. Sir Pendelbury checked off City Rambler in the home straight. Jolly Beggerman raced wide in the home straight. 

Miss Lilah was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left fore toe injury; a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Santa's Hope was vetted and re-vetted following the event 4. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right calf graze; a 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Cortese, the trainer of the greyhound Santa's Hope. Stewards deemed the performance of Santa's Hope unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Santa's Hope must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bazdanny and Shake Ém Up were slow to begin. All Jazzed Up, Tell Me Ma, Shawshank and Xavier Kelton collided approaching the first turn, checking All Jazzed Up. Shawshank and Xavier Kelton collided approaching the first turn, checking Shawshank. Bazdanny galloped on Shawshank on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Shake Ém Up raced wide on the first turn. Baby's Rattle and Mum's Soul collided on the first turn. Tell Me Ma checked off Baby's Rattle approaching the second turn. All Jazzed Up and Shawshank collided on the third turn. 

Bazdanny was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right shoulder injury; a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Shake Ém Up was vetted following event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Trainer, Ms. C. Cortese declined a re-vet. Stewards spoke to Ms. C. Cortese , the trainer of the greyhound Shake Ém Up.  Stewards deemed the performance of Shake Ém Up unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Shake Ém Up must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cool Maxine, Centralian, Sandave Pearl, Nevaeh Beach and Smashing Success were slow to begin. Centralian and Riverside Mary collided approaching the first turn, checking Benny Bowen, Sandave Pearl and severely checking Nevaeh Beach which stumbled; Smashing Success fell as a result. Cool Maxine and Benny Bowen collided in the home straight. Centralian and Riverside Mary collided in the home straight. Atomic Beach and Riverside Mary raced wide in the home straight.

Smashing Success was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor grazes to the left fore foot and a left triangle injury; a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Queen Hera and Dungarvan were slow to begin. Wicky Secret and Moon And Back collided soon after the start, checking Wicky Secret. Kiria Lason and Hi Laddie collided soon after the start. Under Taker and Queen Hera collided soon after the start. Wicky Secret and Hi Laddie collided approaching the first turn. Kiria Lason and Thursday Sip collided on the first turn, checking Wicky Secret, Under Taker, Queen Hera and severely checking Hi Laddie and Kiria Lason; Kiria Lason stumbled and lost ground as a result. Hi Laddie tailed off on the third turn. Moon And Back and Under Taker collided entering the home straight.

Hi Laddie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right thigh injury; a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr. M. Jones declined to have the greyhound re-vetted.  Stewards spoke to Mr. M Jones, the trainer of the greyhound Hi Laddie.  Stewards deemed the performance of Hi Laddie unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Hi Laddie must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dotti Bloom, Akina Akeira and Luna Ash were slow to begin. Rockin' Josie checked off Cee Cee's Legacy on the first turn, checking Dashing Dave. Akina Akeira checked off Dotti Bloom approaching the second turn. Dashing Dave and Luna Ash collided on the second turn. Akina Akeira checked off Dotti Bloom on the second turn. Dashing Dave eased on the fourth turn. Cee Cee's Legacy checked off Have A Tinnie on the fifth turn, checking Luna Ash. Dewana Jet, Cee Cee's Legacy and Luna Ash collided approaching the home turn. Dotti Bloom galloped on Luna Ash on the home turn and raced wide. Dewana Jet and Have A Tinnie collided on the home turn. Have A Tinnie checked off Dewana Jet entering the home straight, checking Cee Cee's Legacy, Luna Ash and Dotti Bloom. Akina Akeira and Luna Ash collided in the home straight.

Akina Akeira was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Have A Tinne was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Dashing Dave was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right triangle injury; a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mrs. E. Johannsen, the handler of the greyhound  Dashing Dave regarding the greyhounds racing manners on fourth turn.  Dashing Dave was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triangle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Dashing Dave with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mrs. E. Johannsen pleaded guilty to the charge, Dashing Dave was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

David Best was quick to begin. Lone Survivor was slow to begin. Yazz and Billy Brae collided soon after the start. Just Relax Ay and Billy Brae collided on the first turn; causing Yazz and Matlin's Tornado to collide. Yazz and Billy Brae collided approaching the second turn. Yazz and Matlin's Tornado collided on the second turn. Matlin's Tornado and Billy Brae collided on the third turn.

Lone Survivor was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.  

A sample was taken from Hogganaught, the winner of the event.

Laquita Lass was quick to begin. Canino and Hestia Bale were slow to begin. Canino checked off Hestia Bale on the first turn. Addictive Alpha and Crowdza Talking collided on the first turn, checking Crowdza Talking which collided with Hestia Bale. Canino and Crowdza Talking collided on the third turn. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Campbell trainer of Laquita Lass regrading the greyhounds improved performance. Mr. Campell stated that Laquita Lass had suffered a lot of interference in her recent starts and with an inside draw, no interference tonight she was able to perform as she did. Mr Campbell also stated that the greyhound was well suited in this event. Stewards accepted Mr.Campbells explination and directed that a sample be taken from Laquita Lass, the winner of the event.

Dyna Fulcrum, Newfire Riley and Ibrox Digger were slow to begin. Dyna Fulcrum, Newfire Riley and Ibrox Digger collided soon after the start, checking Newfire Riley. Albo Gold and Sky Fighter collided approaching the first turn, checking Dyna Fulcrum. Albo Gold and Sky Fighter collided on the first turn, checking Sky Fighter. 

Dyna Quote was a late scratching at 1:12pm due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Rozehill Lisa was slow to begin. Betty Armagh, Serash Bale, Starzar Diamonds and Delta Queen collided soon after the start, checking Starzar Diamonds. Betty Armagh checked off Serash Bale on the first turn and brushed the running rail. Serash Bale and Rozehill Lisa collided on the first turn. Starzar Diamonds raced wide approaching the second turn.

Go Zeppa, Elite Watch and Corrine were quick to begin. Wayward Wind was slow to begin. Wayward Wind checked off Crowdza Chanting on the first turn, severely checking Corrine and causing Gee Callan to race wide as a result.

All Starzar was a late scratching at 6:19pm due to injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Polar Bee was slow to begin. Oscar's Champ and On Flyer collided soon after the start. Abit Late, Garaole and Loyal Miss collided approaching the first turn, checking Abit Late. Garaole and Loyal Miss collided on the firtst turn, checking Loyal Miss. Abit Late galloped on Loyal Miss on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. 

Elanora Beach was quick to begin. Wildcard Lad and Leaf Cutter collided soon after the start, checking Wildcard Lad. Money To Burn clipped the heels of Ruthless Stagger approaching the first turn and fell. Foxy Bling, Dublin Dandy and Wildcard Lad collided on the home turn, checking Foxy Bling and Dublin Dandy. Leaf Cutter checked off Dublin Dandy entering the home straight. 

Money To Burn was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Meeting Comments:

Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Manic trialled over the 520 metres from box 8, weight 29.1kg the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 30.99, the greyhound won by a margin of 3 lengths. Manic was cleared.
