Steward's Report

Clearly Kiddo and Princess Kimora were slow to begin. Issey Whirl and Clearly Kiddo collided soon after the start. Ruby's Lucky checked off Thyme To Rage soon after the start. Uno Daisy and Issey Whirl collided at the 325m mark, checking Issey Whirl. Princess Kimora checked off Ruby's Lucky at the 300m mark. Global Sunset and Clearly Kiddo collided at the 250m mark and again at the 200m mark. Mater was held up for a run at the 100m mark. Mater checked off Global Sunset at the 50m mark. Global Sunset and Clearly Kiddo collided at the 25m mark. Ruby's Lucky eased approaching the winning post. Ruby's Lucky was vetted and re-vetted following event 5. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right calf. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Dennis Brown, the trainer of the greyhound Ruby's Lucky regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post and issued a warning. Stewards deemed the performance of Ruby's Lucky unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Ruby's Lucky must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
