Steward's Report
Micasa Sucasa, Rock Legend and Keyser Soze collided soon after the start. Campaspe Tina checked off Jacas Boy soon after the start. Rock Legend and Keyser Soze collided at the 300m mark and again at the 250m mark. Micasa Sucasa checked off Rock Legend at the 250m mark. Lumen's Of Light marred Jacas Boy at the 175m mark, checking both greyhounds. Micasa Sucasa faltered at the 125m mark. Rock Legend was held up for a run approaching the winning post.
Micasa Sucasa was vetted and re-vetted following event 6. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hind sesamoid and right calf. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Lumen's Of Light was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right pencil muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Acting under GAR 69(1)(a) Stewards charged Lumen's Of Light with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Healesville and directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
