Steward's Report
Stewards were contacted by Mr A Smit the trainer of Taipa Tiger at 10.10am. Mr Smit advised that he had been involved in a car accident en route to the track and that the greyhound had been slightly injured. Mr Smit was advised that at this stage the greyhound will be stood down for 10 days and a veterinary certificate will be required before any future nomination will be accepted.
Tyson's Champ and Ride Free Poppa were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Dark Hoodoo and Captain Fred collided at the 275m mark. Dark Hoodoo and Ride Free Poppa collided at the 150m mark. Tyson's Champ and Ride Free Poppa collided at the 100m mark. Ride Free Poppa and Captain Fred collided approaching the winning post.
