Steward's Report
Ever Alert went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Bookkeeper and Volksjager Blue were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Galloping Rocky and Tweak collided on the first turn. Tarks Nemesis and Cosmic Wise collided in the front straight and again on the second turn. Ever Alert and Tweak collided entering the back straight. Volksjager Blue was held up for a run on the home turn.
Bookkeeper was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to it's right front foot. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Samples were taken from the first two placegetters in the event - Tarks Nemesis (1st) and Cosmic Wise (2nd).
