Steward's Report
Allan Eryk was re-vetted during kenneling after the greyhound was ill in it's kennel. The greyhound was cleared to race.
Dyna Kayla was a late scratching at 9:46pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Allen Eryk and Dream It collided soon after the start. Bekim Hatrick, Allen Eryk and Dream It collided approaching the first turn. Looby Lu, Tick Bale and Mepunga Tiara collided on the first turn. Allen Eryk raced wide on the second turn. Allen Eryk cramped in the back straight and subsequently pulled up.
Allen Eryk was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained possible cramping in it's left front leg. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. A. Dailly, the trainer of the greyhound Allen Eryk and Mr. T. Dailly. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
Samples were taken from the first two placegetters in the event - Dream It (1st) and Mepunga Tiara (2nd).
