Black Quill crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Pure Namron and Ate Octane. Pure Namron, Ate Octane and Withywinds collided approaching the first turn checking Ate Octane. Pure Namron checked off Lily Quist on the first turn. Pure Namron and Withywinds collided approaching the home turn checking Pure Namron. Black Quill and Don's Flash raced wide on the home turn. Don's Flash and Rockafella collided entering the home straight checking Don's Flash. Black Quill raced wide in the home straight.
