Steward's Report
Absolute Leeder and Speedway Stuey were slow to begin.
Vintner and Gypsy Doone collided soon after the start checking Gypsy Doone. Gypsy Doone checked off Bet Bet Betty approaching the first turn and lost considerable ground. Enhanced, Major Strike and Bet Bet Betty collided on the first turn checking Absolute Leeder and Bet Bet Betty and severely checking Enhanced and Breelani's Mahte. Speedway Stuey raced wide approaching the home turn, on the home turn and again in the home straight. Bet Bet Betty checked off Absolute Leeder on the home turn. Major Strike checked off Absolute Leeder in the home straight and collided with Bet Bet Betty.
Gypsy Doone was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both thigh muscles and the right shoulder. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
