Steward's Report
Jeff Hunt was a late scratching at 12.20pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr A Hunter was fined the sum of $100.
Gaelic Melody was quick to begin. Bush Justice was slow to begin. Bruree Hawk crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Lunar Rover. Blown Cash checked off Lunar Rover approaching the home turn. Bruree Hawk and Infringement collided on the home turn and Bruree Hawk eased entering the home straight, checking Infringement.
Bruree Hawk was vetted and re-vetted following race 4. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triceps, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(5), the Stewards charged Bruree Hawk with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(6), before any future nomination will be accepted.
