Da Stig was slow to begin. Extra Special, Joie De Vivre, Sir Bluff Alot and Proven Katie collided soon after the start, checking Sir Bluff Alot and Proven Gunna. Da Stig checked off Extra Special approaching the first turn and subsequently tailed off. Extra Special and Joie De Vivre collided on the first turn, checking Extra Special. Extra Special and Sir Bluff Alot collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds.
Da Stig was vetted and re-vetted following race 11. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left triangle and left pencil. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
