Brooke's Alight crossed to the outside approaching the first turn, checking Court's Girl. Court's Girl galloped on Brooke's Alight approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Brooke's Alight and Bunnerong Lass collided approaching the home turn, checking Bunnerong Lass and severely checking Brooke's Alight; Izabella's Gift was checked as a result. Brooke's Alight checked off Izabella's Gift on the home turn and raced wide.
