Tiger Rock and Master Ollie were quick to begin.  Beautiful Hunzy and Up The Saints were slow to begin.  Tiger Rock crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Rellim Lesta, Gaelic Dreamer and Lunar Rover.  Gaelic Dreamer raced wide on the first turn, checking Rellim Lesta.  Beautiful Hunzy checked off Up The Saints on the first turn and subsequently tailed off.  Up The Saints faltered approaching the home turn and tailed off.  Gaelic Dreamer raced wide on the home turn.  

Rellim Lesta was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Up The Saints was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a broken right hock, and was subsequently humanely euthanased.

Beautiful Hunzy was vetted following race 10.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found but had displayed symptoms of cramp.

Stewards spoke to Mr B Philippe, the trainer of the greyhound Beautiful Hunzy.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Whole Lotta Rosa was slow to begin.  Broken Contract was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Bush Justice and Jelly Leg's collided soon after the start, checking Jelly Leg's.  Jelly Leg's checked off Rough Cut collided on the first turn.

Brooke's Alight, Izabella's Gift, Bunnerong Lass and Arvo's Rodrigo were slow to begin.  Izabella's Gift crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Bunnerong Lass and Arvo's Rodrigo.  Brooke's Alight crossed to the outside approaching the first turn, checking Court's Girl.  Court's Girl galloped on Brooke's Alight approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Brooke's Alight and Bunnerong Lass collided approaching the home turn, checking Bunnerong Lass and severely checking Brooke's Alight; Izabella's Gift was checked as a result.  Brooke's Alight checked off Izabella's Gift on the home turn and raced wide.

Damaged Goods, Hot Mama Vibes and Power Spell were slow to begin.  Erica Black crossed to the rail soon after the start, severely checking Camwell's Cool.  Mama Sienna and Erica Black collided on the first turn, checking Mama Sienna.  Damaged Goods and Nellie Imlach collided on the first turn, checking Nellie Imlach.

Merciless, Major Agogo, Burnsy's Mate and Hot Synd were slow to begin.  Marry Rich galloped on Tammy's Lankan on the first turn, checking Marry Rich and severely checking Tammy's Lankan which stumbled as a result.  Major Agogo, Hot Synd and Jay Pod collided approaching the home turn, checking Hot Synd and Jay Pod; Jay Pod eased and subsequently tailed off. 

Jay Pod was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Mr D Lyons, the trainer of Jay Pod declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted.

Acting under GAR 69(1)(b), Stewards charged Jay Pod with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Warragul and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Super Shy was quick to begin.  Southwood Juma was slow to begin.  El Futuro and Patch In Time collided soon after the start, checking Patch In Time.  El Futuro, Smart Dividend and Super Shy collided approaching the first turn, checking El Futuro and Super Shy.  Paddy Bear and Nikita's Storm collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Nikita's Storm.  Nikita's Storm raced wide approaching the home turn.  Paddy Bear galloped on Sheza Runaway in the home straight, severely checking Sheza Runaway.

Sheza Runaway was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left hock.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
