Rowers Rule – Late scratching at 9:57 am due to non–arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Kevin Ward informed Stewards that he had transport issues which meant he could not present the greyhound today, within the specified time. Stewards advised Mr Ward that evidence will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
Nova's Girl – Late scratching at 9:00 am due to non–arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr Kevin Ward informed Stewards that he had transport issues which meant he could not present the greyhound today, within the specified time. Stewards advised Mr Ward that evidence will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival.
