Pumpkin Pete underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race three.  Pumpkin Pete was found to have right foreleg monkey and deltoid muscle injuries.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr William Robertson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B(1), Pumpkin Pete was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Robertson  pleaded guilty to the charge, Pumpkin Pete was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B(1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

White Nikita underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have spike wounds to the right hindleg toes.  A five day stand down period was imposed.

Lektra Sammy – Late scratching at 11:17 am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a fractured tail.  A  21 day stand down period was imposed. 

Moonlight Wish was slow to begin.

Menari Joe and Maserati Bell collided approaching the first turn.  Maximum Sam and Penshurst Lass collided approaching the first turn.  Halloumi, Menari Joe and Maserati Bell collided on the first turn; checking Moonlight Wish and Maserati Bell; severely checking Halloumi.

Halloumi underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Al's Wicky turned its head inwards and then turned its head outwards  soon after the start.  Al's Wicky, Double Rainbow and Myola Red Boy collided soon after the start; causing Al's Wicky to fall; checking Myola Red Boy.  Menari Hugh and Saint Bogan collided on the first turn.  Menari Hugh checked off Double Rainbow in the home straight.  

Al's Wicky underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right foreleg wrist, left and right foreleg monkey muscle, and left hindleg track leg injuries.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to representative, Ms Cassendra Jayakody regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B(1), Al's Wicky was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms Jayakody pleaded guilty to the charge, Al's Wicky was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B(1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr Garry Harding failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Kinloch Geek for racing.  A fine of $100 was issued pursuant to GAR 46(2).
