Steward's Report
Lektra Sammy – Late scratching at 11:17 am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a fractured tail. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Moonlight Wish was slow to begin.
Menari Joe and Maserati Bell collided approaching the first turn. Maximum Sam and Penshurst Lass collided approaching the first turn. Halloumi, Menari Joe and Maserati Bell collided on the first turn; checking Moonlight Wish and Maserati Bell; severely checking Halloumi.
Halloumi underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Saint Ollie – the winner of the event.
