Orson Delight and Speedy Villain collided soon after the start, checking Speedy Villain. Orson Delight raced wide on the first turn; checking Aston Prince and Limburg Blaze. Orson Delight raced wide approaching the home turn checking Aston Prince. My Name's Phil raced wide on the home turn.
Orson Delight underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right foreleg. No stand down period was imposed.
