Mepunga Gem checked off Pink Fury on the first turn. Pink Fury checked off Fleetwood Sam on the first turn. Wizardry Tricks checked off Peaky Blazer on the first turn, checking Fleetwood Sam. Mcglynn underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Ms Kerry Prowse, the handler of Mcglynn regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Mcglynn was charged with marring. Ms Prowse pleaded guilty to the charge, Mcglynn was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Horsham and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Peaky Blazer - the winner of the event.
