She Can Excite was slow to begin.
Cool Limit and My Mate Tip collided soon after the start, checking Cool Limit. Mystify Kick and Cool Limit collided soon after the start, checking Mystify Kick. Rev Up Angel and She Can Excite collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.
She Can Excite underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Emily Azzopardi, the trainer of She Can Excite regarding the greyhound's performance in the event. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Ms Azzopardi to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of She Can Excite in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
