Luna's Rocket and Over Value were slow to begin.
Milana Rose, Tank Girl and Mt. View Pearl collided soon after the start, checking Tank Girl. Mt. View Pearl and Over Value collided on the first turn. Mt. View Pearl checked off Over Value approaching the home turn. Classy Edition and Milana Rose collided approaching the home turn. Luna's Rocket raced wide on the home turn.
Milana Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a left hindleg triangle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
