Steward's Report
There was no head-on vision available for this race.
All Clear was delayed to allow Stewards to determine whether the rug of Cat Noir, which was difficult to box, was fitted correctly. After taking evidence from the Steward at the start and the greyhound's trainer, Mr M Giddings, Stewards were satisfied that the rug was correctly fitted, despite having been pushed forward when the greyhound was placed in the boxes. All Clear was then given on the semaphored numbers.
Queue The Music was slow to begin.
Tinker Calie and Fine Edition collided soon after the start. La La Lucky and Cat Noir collided on the first turn, checking Cat Noir. Pull Shot and Tinker Calie collided on the first turn, checking Pull Shot. Winlock Dyno and La La Lucky collided on the first turn. Myola Knight raced wide on the home turn.
