Aston Marla and Ice Star were slow to begin.
Frey Lee and Radioactive collided soon after the start. Ice Star and Frey Lee collided soon after the start causing Frey Lee to lose ground. Radioactive and Sadie Rose collided on the first turn checking Sadie Rose. Aston Marla raced wide on the home turn.
