Magic Will – Late scratching at 8:09am when trainer J. Campbell reported the greyhound to be lame (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Utah Express.
Well grounded and Freddy Reiko were quick to begin.
Aussie Built and Utah Express collided approaching the first turn. Aussie Built, Cornish Pixie, Freddy Reiko and Dyna Virion collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Quick Transition checked off Cornish Pixie approaching the home turn. Freddy Reiko and Dyna Virion collided on the home turn.
