Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Almapa Gallucci.
The start of this event was delayed by approximately 4 minutes to allow track staff to perform remedial work on the lure after it was damaged during the stir up.
Honey Bourbon, Josie's Entity, Jackson's Valley, Scraping Paint, It's A Tiger and Almapa Gallucci collided soon after the start. Jackson's Valley faltered on the first turn and lost considerable ground checking Scraping Paint and Almapa Gallucci causing Jackson's Valley to fall. Honey Bourbon and It's A Tiger collided approaching the home rurn severely checking both greyhounds. Honey Bourbon and Scraping Paint collided on the home turn.
Jackson's Valley underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right radius/ulna and was humanely euthanised.
