Steward's Report
The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Hurricane Sue with Mrs Victoria Sultana and noted her comments.
Hurricane Sue and Aston Dotty were quick to begin. Marie, Zero and Bomber's Smokey collided soon after the start checking Zero. Bomber's Smokey and Ironclad collided approaching the first turn. Hurricane Sue and Hurricane Miami collided approaching the first turn. Hurricane Miami was checked off Hurricane Sue on the first turn. Hurricane Sue, Bomber's Smokey and Ironclad collided approaching the home turn severely checking Hurricane Sue and Bomber's Smokey, subsequently checking Hurricane Miami, Marie and Zero. Zero crossed to the rail on the home turn checking Marie.
Hurricane Sue underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left hamstring. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
