Steward's Report
Trainer,Mr Peter Keane failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Nanda Sizzle for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 46 (2).
Nanda Sizzle was quick to begin.
Aston Stella and Nino's Girl collided soon after the start. Aston Samara, Comrade and Hey Vain Elaine collided on the first turn checking Aston Samara. Aston Stella and Nino's Girl collided approaching the home turn. Aston Stella checked off Sharnee Rose approaching the home turn. Aston Express raced wide entering the home straight. Sharnee Rose and Nanda Sizzle collided in the home straight. Nino's Girl, Sharnee Rose, Nanda Sizzle and Aston Stella collided approaching the winning post.
Aston Stella underwent a post-race veterinary examination following a fall after the winning post and was found to have injuries to the right monkey muscle, right quadriceps and spike wounds to the left foreleg and right hindleg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
