Steward's Report
Shima Classic was slow to begin.
Deep Dive and Suntory Lass collided soon after the start. Enicka Bale and She's So Kind collided approaching the first turn, checking She's So Kind. Enicka Bale, She's So Kind, Gypsy Bun, Shima Classic, Mepunga Gertie and Deep Dive collided on the first turn. She's So Kind, Enicka Bale and Ducati Star collided on the first turn, checking Ducati Star. Enicka Bale and Shima Classic collided approaching the home turn. Ducati Star checked off She's So Kind approaching the home turn. She's So Kind and Enicka Bale collided entering the home straight. She's So Kind shifted outwards in the home straight.
She's So Kind underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg split webbing injury. A10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr K Lloyd, the handler of She's So Kind, regarding its performance in the home straight. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, She's So Kind must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Shima Classic underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
