Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Pepperberry.
Esfahan and Man Cave were slow to begin. Two Phones, Man Cave, Rogue Empire And Esfahan collided soon after the start. Pepperberry and About Bob collided approaching the first turn. Hacker crossed out on the first turn causing About Bob and Nitro Antwon to race wide severely checking Hacker, Nitro Antwon and About Bob. Hacker and Nitro Antwon collided entering the home straight. Hacker turned its head out in the home straight. About Bob raced wide in the home straight.
Hacker underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4. Hacker was found to have an injured right wrist and left thigh. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr. P. Martinovic regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B) (1) Hacker was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Martinovic pleaded guilty to the charge, Hacker was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
