Hacker crossed out on the first turn causing About Bob and Nitro Antwon to race wide severely checking Hacker, Nitro Antwon and About Bob.  Hacker and Nitro Antwon collided entering the home straight. Hacker turned its head out in the home straight.  About Bob raced wide in the home straight.

Hacker underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4. Hacker was found to have an injured right wrist and left thigh.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mr. P. Martinovic regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B) (1) Hacker was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Martinovic pleaded guilty to the charge, Hacker was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cooped Up was slow to begin.  Concrete Fever and Shanlyn Bear collided soon after the start. Aston Balade, Earn The Blur, Bull’s Roar and Cool Customer collided approaching the first turn checking Cool Customer.  Earn The Blur, Bull’s Roar and Cool Customer collided on the first turn checking Earn The Blur. Earn The Blur and Cooped Up raced wide in the home straight. 

Coalville King was slow to begin.  Plain And Simple and Persian Goddess collided soon after the start checking Plain And Simple.  Plain And Simple and Luxury Art collided approaching the winning post.

Coalville King underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a papiloma on the left metatarsal.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Invictus Rising and Dr. Macie were quick to begin and collided soon after the start.  Limiting, Major Gilbert and Barwidgi collided soon after the start checking Major Gilbert.  Dr. Macie, Zachary and Barwidgi collided approaching the first turn checking Limiting and Major Gilbert.  Dr. Macie was checked off Zachary on the first turn causing Dr. Macie to lose ground.  Zachary and Barwidgi collided approaching the home turn.  Barwidgi and Tralee collided entering the home straight. Limiting, Barwidgi and Tralee collided in the home straight checking Tralee. Limiting was checked off Barwidgi in the home straight.  Harrigan And Dr. Macie raced wide in the home straight.

Bangor Sophia was quick to begin.  It’s Not Fun was checked off Talk Talk Talk approaching the first turn.  Star Night and Fast Talker collided approaching the first turn checking Star Night.  Consider It Done, Ethan’s Fury and Star Night collided on the first turn checking Consider It Done and Ethan’s Fury.  It’s Not Fun was checked off Ethan’s Fury approaching the home turn.  Fast Talker raced wide entering the home straight. It’s Not Fun and Fast Talker raced wide in the home straight.

The start was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to holding for a Northam harness event.

Especial Envy was slow to begin.  Better Dream, Rumour File and Parzival collided soon after the start checking Rumour File and Parzival. Burning Mountain and Especial Envy collided approaching the first turn checking Burning Mountain.  Fireball Frank galloped on General Collinda approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Especial Envy and Fireball Frank collided approaching the home turn checking Especial Envy And Nicko Express.  Nicko Express was checked off Especial Envy in the home straight. Nicko Express and Especial Envy collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Formidable was quick to begin.  Billy’s The Boss crossed in soon after the start checking Will It Rain and Punk Lass Rocks.  Hugo galloped on Formidable on the first turn checking Formidable.  Prince Jed and Livvy’s Princess collided approaching the home  turn.  Billy’s The Boss and Angel Eyes collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Formidable was checked off Prince Jed entering the home straight.  Formidable and Will It Rain collided in the home straight.  Prince Jed and Angel Eyes raced wide in the home straight. Formidable and Punk Lass Rocks collided approaching the winning post.

Chasing Rex was slow to begin. Javi and Chasing Rex collided approaching the first turn severely checking Javi which fell checking Chasing Rex.  Mr Neo, Stirling Lights and Gotham Duke collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds, Stirling Lights raced wide as a result.

Javi underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right hip, left back muscle and left shoulder muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Chasing Rex underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on a left hind toe.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Parabellum.

Parabellum and Locked In were quick to begin.  Vesper Bale and Shot Gun Pistol was slow to begin. Grawlix, Parabellum and Almapa Sunshine collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Parabellum was checked off Shot Gun Pistol approaching the home turn.  Miss Demonica and Especial Empire collided entering the home straight.  Miss Demonica was checked off Especial Empire in the home straight.

Throw Caution was quick to begin and crossed in soon after the start.  Zipping Bates was slow to begin.  Sweet Chanelle, Zipping Django and Rafael Fever collided on the first turn. Zipping Django galloped on Rafael Fever approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Sneaky Mojo raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight.  

Rafael Fever underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on a left front toe.  A 3 day stand down period was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. M Brown regarding the racing manners of Rafael Fever in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mrs. Brown, viewing all available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
