Steward's Report
Little Kit was quick to begin. Aston Guilder was checked off Little Kit soon after the start. Taylor's Jewel, Magnetic Steff, Lakeview Lilly and Charlie Brother collided soon after the start checking Charlie Brother and Lakeview Lilly. Magnetic Steff and Aston Guilder collided approaching the first turn. Aston Guilder and Charlie Brother collided on the first turn checking Aston Guilder which raced wide as a result checking Lakeview Hank and severely checking Magnetic Steff. Magnetic Steff galloped on Aston Guilder on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Magnetic Steff and Aston Guilder raced wide in the home straight.
Aston Guilder underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke Mr. I. Blencowe, the representative for Aston Guilder regarding the greyhound's performance in this event. After viewing all available video footage and taking into consideration Mr. Blencowe's explanation Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Aston Guilder must perform a satisfactory trial pursuant to GAR 72 before any future nomination will be accepted.
