Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID–19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4–wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks/covers that in–turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race–day functions and operations.

Fab Rocket was slow to begin.  Billy's The Boss crossed in soon after the start checking Betty's Dream, Not Happening, Zero and Minutiae.  Click And Win and Minutiae collided approaching the first turn checking Minutiae.  Betty's Dream and Fab Rocket collided on the first turn severely checking Fab Rocket which contacted the running rail and lost ground. Minutiae and Billy's The Boss collided approaching the home turn.  Not Happening and Zero collided approaching the home turn. Zero and Minutiae collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Fab Rocket raced wide in the home straight.

Fab Rocket underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Little Kit was quick to begin.  Aston Guilder was checked off Little Kit soon after the start.  Taylor's Jewel, Magnetic Steff, Lakeview Lilly and Charlie Brother collided soon after the start checking Charlie Brother and Lakeview Lilly.   Magnetic Steff and Aston Guilder collided approaching the first turn.  Aston Guilder and Charlie Brother collided on the first turn checking Aston Guilder which raced wide as a result checking Lakeview Hank and severely checking Magnetic Steff.  Magnetic Steff galloped on Aston Guilder on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Magnetic Steff and Aston Guilder raced wide in the home straight.

Aston Guilder underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke Mr. I. Blencowe, the representative for Aston Guilder regarding the greyhound's performance in this event.  After viewing all available video footage and taking into consideration Mr. Blencowe's explanation Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Aston Guilder must perform a satisfactory trial pursuant to GAR 72 before any future nomination will be accepted.

Angel Eyes was checked off Poppo's Grinning soon after the start.  Poppo's Grinning was checked off Pleach approaching the first turn.  Don't Get Lippy, Ever Lovin' Man and Pleach collided approaching the first turn checking Don't Get Lippy and Pleach.  Don't Get Lippy was checked off Pleach on the first turn checking Master Marcus.  Reiko Bear, Poppo's Grinning and Angel Eyes collided on the first turn checking Poppo's Grinning.  Master Marcus turned its head out and collided with Don't Get Lippy approaching the winning post.

Master Marcus underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported. Representative Mr. Brandon Mackie declined his option to have the greyhound re-vetted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Brandon Mackie, the representative for Master Marcus regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A (1) Master Marcus was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Mackie pleaded guilty to the charge, Master Marcus was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satsfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Avenger Spolly was slow to begin.  Zipping Lach, Spolly James and Warm Beer collided soon after the start.  Full Tilt and Star Night collided on the first turn checking a Full Tilt.  Zipping Lach was checked off Kroos on the first turn checking Zipping Lach.  Kroos and Fernando Bull collided on the home turn.  Warm Beer and Avenger Spolly raced wide in the home straight.

Bodine and Fractured collided soon after the start checking Bodine.  Bobby Bean Rose galloped on Sweet Petit approaching the first turn, Bobby Bean Rose fell as a result.  Tribal and Rockstar Ruby collided on the first turn checking Rockstsr Ruby.  Tribal, Fractured, Rockstar Ruby and Lakeview Cruiser collided on the home turn.  Bodine raced wide in the home straight.  Rockstsr Ruby and Tribal collided approaching the winning post.

Bobby Bean Rose underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right wrist and right thigh.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Honey Bourbon was quick to begin.  Tinker Cindy was checked off Volcanic Lava on the first turn. Zipping Bates and Tinker Cindy collided approaching the home turn.  New Jack Swing and Volcanic Lava collided on the home turn checking Volcanic Lava.

A pre-race sample was taken from Nifty Nelly.

Patricia Maureen was quick to begin. She's A Charm was slow to begin.  Zipping Whoopi was checked off She's A Charm approaching the first turn, Zipping Whoopi lost ground as a result. Nifty Nelly, Whistling Bullet, Hook Along Book and Pyrocumulus collided on the first turn checking Nifty Nelly and Whistling Bullet.  Whistling Bullet and Pyrocumulus collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Whistling Bullet and Pyrocumulus collided in the home straight checking Whistling Bullet.  She's A Charm raced wide in the home straight.

Zipping Whoopie underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left chest muscle.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Sonneman regarding the undue delay in boxing She's A Charm in this event.  Stewards accepted Mr. Sonneman's explanation and took no further action.

Aston Bintang, Zipping Samara and What Price Mason collided soon after the start checking Zipping Samara.  Matilda Hook, Tippa, Aston Bintang and What Price Mason collided on the first turn checking Tippa and What Price Mason.  Tippa and Zipping Samara collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Tippa was checked off What Price Mason entering the home straight.

Lakeview Max and Mighty Tuscany were slow to begin.  Curnow's Blues crossed in soon after the start checking Hurricane Miss.  Curnow's Blues, Chatterbox Tilly and Folding Stars collided approaching the first turn checking Folding Stars.  Lakeview Max and Chatterbox Tilly collided on the first turn.  Folding Stars and Hurricane Miss collided on the first turn.

Mt. View Audrey was very slow to begin (5 lengths).  Suspense Rules and Ripplebrook Rory collided approaching the first turn checking Ripplebrook Rory and Always Primed.  Trout was checked off Hurricane Red on the first turn.  Trout and Suspense Rules collided approaching the winning post.

It was noted that the muzzle of Mt. View Audrey became dislodged during the running of the event.
