Steward's Report
Attitude Plus and Morbius were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Gunmandu, Flossy Jo and Braeside collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Attitude Plus lost ground on the first turn. Attitude Plus and Astrolithology collided on the home turn. Braeside and Peregrine Speed collided on the home turn. Peregrine Speed and Morbius raced wide in the home straight. Jolly Jiggs and Astrolithology collided approaching the winning post.
Peregrine Speed underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left deltoid muscle, left thigh muscle and an abrasion on the left hind leg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms. V. Wisener the trainer of Attitude Plus and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.
A post race sample was taken from Attitude Plus - winner of the event.
