Taiepa - The frequency of racing was discussed with representative, Mr H. Goss; his comments were noted.
Taiepa was quick to begin.
Hazy's Girl, Tyler Durden and Lektra Scooter collided soon after the start. Princess Poppy and Hazy's Girl collided soon after the start. Blow Me Kisses brushed the rail approaching the first turn. Taiepa and On The Duck collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Taiepa checked off Tyler Durden on the first turn. On The Duck and Tyler Durden collided entering the home straight.
Taiepa underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock abrasion. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
