Steward's Report

Premier Magic was slow to begin.  Why Not Radar went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Hun Can You crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Diego Siyan and Southwood Stone.  Hun Can You checked off Beljay Blitz on the first turn, checking Diego Siyan and Southwood Stone.  Why Not Radar checked off Hun Can You on the first turn and stumbled.  Diego Siyan and Flaming Paddy collided approaching the home turn, checking Flaming Paddy, Southwood Stone and Hun Can You.  Why Not Radar galloped on Flaming Paddy approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds.  Diego Siyan and Premier Magic collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr T Currie, the trainer of Hannah's A Cru regarding the greyhound's improved performance today.  Mr Currie stated that the greyhound has recently returned from injury and has been trialling well.  Stewards noted the explanation and directed samples be taken.

A sample was taken from Hannah's A Cru - the winner of the event.
