Steward's Report

Jeffie was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Penny Lover crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Bush Kanga, Spells On You, Light And Tangi and Hare Addict and Hare Addict stumbled as a result.  Paddy Bear and Jenny Rocks collided approaching the first turn, checking Jenny Rocks and Penny Lover.  Bush Kanga and Light And Tangi collided on the first turn.  Jeffie checked off Hare Addict approaching the home turn.  Stewards noted that Jeffie became inconvenienced with a wedged muzzle in the home straight and lost ground as a result.

Light And Tangi was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Jeffie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
