Steward's Report
Architecture and Blazing Sword were slow to begin.
Cosmic Fox and Doran's Call collided on the first turn. Electric Hippy and Iona Misty collided on the first turn. Mini Fernando, Doran's Call and New Fire Girl collided on the first turn. Architecture, Mini Fernando and Doran's Call collided entering the home straight checking Architecture and Doran's Call. New Fire Girl visibly eased and turned its head entering the home straight.
New Fire Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr M. Carr, the representative of New Fire Girl regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) New Fire Girl was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Carr pleaded guilty to the charge, New Fire Girl is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
