Steward's Report

Inter Nick and Zipping Afro collided soon after the start.  Foxy Princess and Braemar Big Yin collided on the first turn checking Braemar Big Yin which faltered.  Braemar Camilita visibly eased and turned its head outwards and collided several times with Foxy Princess from approaching the home turn to the home turn.  Grab That Earn visibly eased approaching the winning post.

Braemar Big Yin underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Grab That Earn underwent a post-race veterinary examination, was re-examined following race 6 and was found to have a have a left sesamoid injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to the trainer Ms G. Gray, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Grab The Earn was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Gray pleaded guilty to the charge, Grab The Earn must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Braemar Camilita underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a have a left calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to the trainer Mrs J. Holden, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Braemar Camilita was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs Holden pleaded guilty to the charge, Braemar Camilita must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
