Sisters Lee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Inter Nick and Zipping Afro collided soon after the start.  Foxy Princess and Braemar Big Yin collided on the first turn checking Braemar Big Yin which faltered.  Braemar Camilita visibly eased and turned its head outwards and collided several times with Foxy Princess from approaching the home turn to the home turn.  Grab That Earn visibly eased approaching the winning post.

Braemar Big Yin underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Grab That Earn underwent a post-race veterinary examination, was re-examined following race 6 and was found to have a have a left sesamoid injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to the trainer Ms G. Gray, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Grab The Earn was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Gray pleaded guilty to the charge, Grab The Earn must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Braemar Camilita underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a have a left calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to the trainer Mrs J. Holden, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Akhenaten, Braemar Sassy and Muza's Belle collided soon after the start.  Dreamliner, Idle Gem and Pennine Way collided soon after the start.  Dreamliner and Idle Gem collided approaching the first turn, on the first and again approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Justin Rose and Braemar Sassy collided on the home turn.  Pennine Way checked off Akhenaten on the home turn.

Is All and Braemar Keelie collided approaching the first turn.  Shafira checked off Cilla Gem on the first turn causing Shafira to race wide checking No Sugar as a result.  Is All, Braemar Keelie and Staggerism collided on the first turn severely checking Is All and Braemar Keelie.  Is All and Braemar Keelie collided on the first turn checking Braemar Keelie.

Trainer Mrs C. Mason requested that Keep 'Em Keen undergo a post-race veterinary examination, the greyhound was found to have a spike wound to the right hind.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Lexi Cristalle was quick to begin.  Blonde Bella, Medium Rare and Miss Pocket Aces were slow to begin.

Paw Licious, Hurricane Rose and Gold Odessa collided approaching the first turn checking Hurricane Rose and Gold Odessa.  Blonde Bella clipped the heels of Paw Licious on the first turn.  

Hurricane Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Pilot Pete, Aston Truffle and Speedy Readie collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Truffle, Speedy Readie and Iona Misty.  Bluehawk Robert checked off Dan's Hopeful on the first turn causing Bluehawk Robert to check off Mossy Oak checking Pilot Pete.  Iona Misty checked off Speedy Readie approaching the home turn.  Aston Truffle, Bluehawk Robert and Turn Him Around collided approaching the winning post.  

Bill Heeny – New declared weight of 32.5kgs, last raced at 31.3kgs.

Spolly's Girl and Valley Reaper were quick to begin.

Covfefe and Rooey collided soon after the start.  Valley Reaper crossed in soon after the start checking Mega Hazel.  Covfefe checked off Bill Heeny approaching the first turn colliding with Miss Walt and Brindle Ninja checking Covfefe, Miss Walt and severely checking Brindle Ninja which lost considerable ground.

Brindle Ninja underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury and a spike wound to the right hind hock.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

MEETING COMMENTS:

The following greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trial took place over 400mtrs with 5 required to trial. The winning time of trial was 23.03.

Paz finished 1st, Ya Ya Ya finished 2nd, Dr. Seraphina finished 3rd, Harvey Warbanger finished 4th, Carrow Road finished 5th.  

Ya Ya Ya– Was stood down from racing at Sandown for an unsatisfactory performance. Weighing 36.7kgs and beginning from box 1 beaten by ¼ lengths. Ya Ya Ya has been cleared to race all tracks except Sandown.

Carrow Road– Was stood down from racing at Warragul for an unsatisfactory performance. Weighing 30.5kgs and beginning from box 2 beaten by 12 ½ lengths. Carrow Road has not been cleared to race due to not running a competitive time.

Harvey Warbanger – Was stood down from racing at Sandown for an unsatisfactory performance. Weighing 32.3kgs and beginning from box 5 beaten by 4 ¼ lengths. Harvey Warbanger has been cleared to race all tracks except Sandown.

Dr. Seraphina – Was stood down from racing at Warragul for fail to chase. Weighing 27.4kgs and beginning from box 7 beaten by 3 ¼ lengths. Dr. Seraphina has been cleared to race at all tracks.

Paz – Was stood down from racing at Warragul for fail to chase injury. Weighing 25.7kgs and beginning from box 8 winning by ¼ lengths. Paz has been cleared to race at all tracks.
